Ok, there are many, many good beginner tutorials for Unity out there already. I would not be able to do as good a job as them so there's no point in me wasting my time and yours.
If you are a complete beginner then I recommend you start out at Unity3d.com and in particular the Roll-a-ball tutorial: http://unity3d.com/learn/tutorials/projects/roll-ball-tutorial. Get to grips with the interface first before coming back here, it'll speed things up for you if you're not having to worry about how to pan the camera, focus on an object etc.

Welcome
Hi all, welcome to my blog on programming in Unity (www.unity3d.com).
I want to capture everything I learn about programming in Unity in neat, bite-sized pieces so what better place to do so than here on blogger? It's simple, convenient and if it helps someone else along the way (hopefully you!) then fantastic, what's not to like.
So, go grab your favourite beverage and let's begin.
